TKV is Turkey's first civilian development organizations. It was established in order to develop beekeeping in our country and to support it with trainings. It is the first company to fill the honey in a glass jar. It has accomplished many firsts such as this. It is the largest queen production facility with 24,000 queen bee production capacity.

In accordance with the "Technical Cooperation Agreement" between the Turkish and German Governments in 1978, the German Technical Assistance was provided to the beekeeping project. Based on Article 6, he assigned the task of implementing the "Integrated Beekeeping Project" to TKV.

Within the scope of "Integrated Beekeeping Project", training-extension services are provided for beekeepers, on the one hand, the basic input (queen bees, basic honeycomb, hive and other beekeeping equipment) needs of beekeepers are met, and on the other hand, the honey plant established as the first plant of the sector honey and bee products are brought to market.
